Price competition is not the answer

Chinese LED industry is at another turning point. During the second half of last year, LED industry is drawn into a collapse tide. Now the market is more of a mess. Many entered into this field only to see the market capacity over the loaded. Many LED spotlights and other LED illumination firms went into collapse. Competing with an unscientific, irrational way and ignoring the possible consequences is apparently similar to digging their own grave. Since 2008, many enterprises optimistic about LED industry and want to make a share from this field, under the supporting policy background. LED industry get a rapid growth of 35%. Its total output value of Guangdong province in 2011 reached 150 billion RMB, ranking first in China. However, most of this LED enterprises are packaging and have lack capacity on technology research and development. All their products are highly homogenized. This leads to a cut throat price war and many small companies lost in trouble.
