Chip tech upgrade decrease LED lamp price

Chip is the most important part of LED spotlights and other LED lamps. Because LED chip implicates high-tech, LED chip become upstream industry, the development of LED chip will affect the development substantially. LED luminous efficiency increases as LED chip technology upgrades, then a single LED chip cost will decrease. In addition, the price will decrease due to the investment caused cut-throat competition. In 2011, chip market converts from demand exceeds supply to supply exceeds demand and chip price decreased sharply. LED packaging cost consists of material cost and artificial cost. Material cost accounts for 80%. Chip cost accounts for 40%~50% of chip cost.
